Daniel Negreanu Exchanged Carnival for Poker
These days the Brazilian São Paulo is not only home for a carnival, but also for the next stop of the Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) with its real pearl – Grand Final. 367 players agreed to pay the $4,000 buy-in, with many celebrities among them, but only one Team PokerStars Pro – Daniel Negreanu was destined to reach the final table.
The four-time World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner – Negreanu will sit at the final table with the fifth stack - 702.000, which means that he would have to postpone dancing with tanned beauties at least for one day. Meanwhile, Daniel became the first player to earn a final-table spot on the three major PokerStars tours - the LAPT, APPT and EPT. There is no any doubt that this achievement deserves respect, but we are more than sure that “PokerKid” will not agree to become an underpart in his first LAPT final.
Already today we will discover the name of the champion and holder of the main prize - $324,600, but for now the German Daniel Nestola is closest to this goal with 1,892,000 in chips. We wish all the best to all finalists of this prestigious tournament, but now we would like to offer you to see a video message from Daniel Negreanu, in which he tells about his future plans and shares how he spent the Valentine's Day. In addition, Daniel will answer a pressing question - does he regret for his harsh comments regarding Howard Lederer, Chris Ferguson and Ray Bitar? Let’s take a look!
