'A 10 Euro lesson on how Not to play JJ' - Sidharth

17/02/2012

Well, it's been quite a week, but finally, I have the weekend to play poker. I've decided to make up for all the money I lost in the previous few days. I had to pay 10 Euros to learn that JJ is a really weak hand, even against very loose players.

I was holding the JJ, and the flop came out Qxx. I was by now very annoyed with the way this person was playing, pushing people out, losing money and rebuying. I genuinely thought I had the best hand, and raised him. Push DID come to shove, and all the money was in the pot.

Well, I was appalled to see him holding QQ. Guaranteed, my worst play ever. But today, I've made up most of it, bringing my bankroll up to 67 Euros after multitabling for about 2 hours. Nothing much else happened of note, except the KK vs QQ hand. This time, I had the KK and the poor fool raised all in.

I did consider AA, but decided that's very unlikely because he'd been doing this for a while. I thought at the very least he had AKo but the two queens made me cry with happiness.

Cheers!!
