News from the World Series of Poker
Today our traditional news supplier - World Series of Poker will again become the headliner of our news release, which is not a surprise, given the fact that Las Vegas never sleeps. So, what has happened in the Sin City during the previous night? Let’s find out.

First, we want to celebrate the success of Michael Mizrachi in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship. "The Grinder" started the final table of this prestigious tournament as the chip leader and never looked back till the very end. Alas, just about every seat in this tournament of 108 starters was a superstar or a notable Pro. Mizrachi overcame former gold bracelet owners Bill Chen and Andy Bloch. He also defeated the highly-respected Chris Klodnicki ($ 896,935) in heads-up play. It is noteworthy that Mizrachi won his first WSOP bracelet in the same event two years ago. Winning such a tough two time in such a short period of time is absolutely amazing result. The latest win gave Mizrachi $1,451,527 in prize money, a third bracelet and made him the leader for Player of the Year. Our congratulations to "The Grinder" and all his large family!
Another brilliant result was shown by Joey Weismann, who became victorious in Event 46: $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em. A 24-year-old poker professional from New York managed to overcome 1.606 contenders before collecting the whopping sum of $ 694,609 in prize money, plus the most coveted prize in poker – the WSOP gold bracelet. The most interesting fact is that throughout the final the bracelet was guarded by his faithful dog – Revis. Perhaps, Revis mistook it as a dog cellar.
However, Revis was satisfied with Joey’s game and even gave a short interview afterwards: "Ruff, ruff, ruff ... woof, woof, ruff, ruff. Ruff, ruff, woof, woof, ruff, ruff, ruff, ruff. Woof." We hope you understand dog’s language.
The $1 million buy-in Big One for One Drop is just around the corner, and some players are selling off action to any interested buyers via Twitter. Among the most active ones are: Ben Lamb, Jason Mercier and Phil Hellmuth. Let’s look at some of their tweets:
Ben Lamb: "I'm buying into #onedrop tomorrow no matter what. Have 7% more to sell at 1.1 of anyone interested".
Jason Mercier: "I'm buying into ONE DROP tomorrow. No matter what as well. Following in the footsteps of @BenbaLamb still have a little left to sell at 1.1".
Phil Hellmuth: "I $600,000 so far for the WSOP $1 million "One drop," I need $400K more. If anyone wants to buy a big piece of $50K or more, let me know".
Is anyone eager to help Phil Hellmuth?
